“Operation Raavan,” the latest film starring Rakshit Atluri, acclaimed for his roles in “Palasa” and “Narakasura,” features Radhika Sarath Kumar in a pivotal role. Produced by Dhyan Atluri and directed by Venkata Satya in Telugu and Tamil languages, this new-age suspense thriller stars Sangeerthana Vipin as the heroine. Scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 26th of this month, the movie recently held its pre-release event in Hyderabad with renowned director Maruthi as a guest.
At the event, lyricist Pranavam expressed, “Our director encouraged us to convey our sentiments through songs rather than words. I’ve penned lines that capture the essence of ‘Operation Raavan’. All the best to our entire team.
Dialogue writer Darling Swamy reflected, “Books and friends inspire us positively. Venkata Satya, a dear friend, transformed societal events into ‘Operation Raavan’. Their promotions have intrigued the audience. Rakshit Atluri has evolved as an actor through this film. Wishing blockbuster success for the entire team.
Director Anil remarked, “In Bollywood, we’ve seen fathers directing their sons as heroes, a path Puri garu charted for us. Venkat Satya has now embarked on a similar journey. Rakshit shines in ‘Operation Raavan’, displaying newfound maturity. I’m eager to witness our inner conflicts unfold on screen. Best wishes to the team!”
Director Venkata Satya shared, “It’s an honor to have director Maruthi join us at the ‘Operation Raavan’ pre-release event. Maruthi is the reason Rakshit and I ventured into filmmaking. We are grateful to our entire team for their dedication to this project. While promoting it as a psychological thriller, our film intricately explores the nuances of love. Love isn’t possessive but generous, yet it can turn intense and dark. Our challenges within the film industry reflect the struggle to sustain quality and audience interest amidst rising costs. Let’s contemplate whether these trends will affect cinema attendance or lead to fluctuating theater operations.”
Hero Thiruveer expressed, “I acted alongside Rakshit in ‘Palasa’ and we’ve been good friends since then. Maruthi garu supported us during ‘Palasa’ and continues to support us now. I was supposed to act in ‘Operation Raavan’ and was left awestruck after hearing the story, reminiscent of my favorite thriller movies. The storytelling and cinematography are exceptional. Though I couldn’t join due to unavoidable reasons, ‘Operation Raavan’ will surely be a movie you’ll all love. Make sure to catch it.”
Hero Rakshit Atluri added, “Director Maruthi is the reason I entered the industry, and he has always backed me. I’m grateful to him. My father directed ‘Operation Raavan’ exceptionally well; you wouldn’t believe it’s his debut. Tiruveer, my friend from ‘Palasa,’ also supported us at the function, for which I’m thankful. Every technician dedicated themselves to our film. Radhika’s performance will move you emotionally. We even offered a silver coin for identifying the masked man, which generated great hype. Watch ‘Operation Raavan’ in theaters for an exhilarating experience.”
Director Maruthi commented, “I used to ask Venkata Satya about the release of ‘Operation Raavan.’ He aimed for the right timing, and the 26th of this month is an auspicious release date. Having seen the film less than six months ago, I can say it’s outstanding. Venkata Satya’s thriller with his own son as the hero is quite unique. In Bollywood, a few father-son duos have succeeded, and now Rakshit and Venkata Satya are achieving the same in Telugu. Rakshit’s journey from ‘London Babulu’ to ‘Palasa’ has been remarkable. His dedication and perseverance are commendable. ‘Operation Raavan’ should elevate Rakshit’s reputation further. Venkata Satya has sparked curiosity with the masked man mystery. Best wishes to the ‘Operation Raavan’ team.”
Actress Shwetanjali shared, “Director Venkata Satya gave me a good role in ‘Operation Raavan.’ It’s emotionally intense, and Rakshit’s appearance in the trailer is striking. I hope you’ll support our film by watching it in theaters.”
Dialogue writer Lakshmi Lohit Pujari added, “Thanks to director Venkata Satya for giving me the opportunity to work on ‘Operation Raavan.’ Rakshit has truly excelled in his role. His character, Anand Sriram, resonates deeply with the concept that our thoughts are our enemies. Audiences will enjoy it.”
