Mathu Vadalara received unanimous approval upon release and became a sensational success. The same creative team is back with the sequel, Mathu Vadalara 2. Sri Simha Koduri reprises the lead role while Satya plays a key role as the sidekick. The film is directed by Ritesh Rana. Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu are producing under the banner of Clap Entertainment, the celebrated film Mythri Movie Makers. The announcement of this much-awaited sequel was made today, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The makers have teased its quirky world with two posters.
In the first poster, Shri Sinha and Satya are seen striking dynamic poses while firing guns at enemies. A building in the background, bearing a plaque reading H.E. Team (High Emergency Team), is shown. The poster suggests that this sequel will be even more exciting than its predecessor. The makers have also released another poster hinting at the crime element in the sequel. After the events of part one, delivery boys Babu (Shri Sinha) and Yesu (Sathya) are back but this time as special agents. These special agents promise special missions, big shout outs, more twists and loads of fun.
Faria Abdullah joins the offbeat world of the sequel, which also features Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Ajay, Rohini, Raja Chembol, Jhansi, Srinivas Reddy and Gundu Sudarshan in important roles. Each character plays a crucial role and with such eminent actors on board, entertainment is sure to be on a higher level.
Kala Bhairava will be providing the music for the film while Suresh Sarangam will be handling the cinematography. Karthika Srinivas R is the editor.
The makers have announced that Mathu Vadalara 2 will be released on September 13.
