Although there were initial discussions about making a Tamil film ‘Teddy’, we decided to make ‘Buddy’ with a completely new story using just one idea from ‘Teddy’. That’s how the film came to life. We approached Allu Sirish, believing that the young hero would be perfect for this film. He had known my work for a long time and after discussing the story of ‘Buddy’, he liked it and agreed to take on the project.
– Today’s audiences are looking for movies that offer a theatrical experience. ‘Buddy’ was designed with you in mind. We focused on expressing the character of the teddy bear by using the best CG effects to enhance the emotion.
