“Bhaje Vaayu Vegam” Engages with a Whole New Emotional Drive – Kartikeya Gummakonda

Presented by the prestigious production company UV Creations, the movie “Bhaje Vaayu Vegam,” starring hero Kartikeya Gummakonda, is produced under the banner of UV Concepts. Iswarya Menon plays the heroine, and Rahul Tyson of “Happy Days” fame plays a pivotal role. Director Prashant Reddy is making this film as an emotional action thriller. Ajay Kumar Raju P. is acting as co-producer. On the 31st of this month, the movie “Bhaje Vaayu Vegam” will have a worldwide grand theatrical release. On this occasion, hero Kartikeya Gummakonda interacted with media about the film.

– “During the lockdown, Prashanth Reddy narrated the story of ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ to me. As soon as he started telling the story, I connected with the emotions in it. I definitely decided to do this film. I asked for some time to get ready for the character. After the shooting of ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ started, director Prashanth gained more confidence in the story. We wanted to finish this film quickly, but we decided to take more time and make it even better. I had already started ‘Bedurulanka.’ After completing that film, I discussed with the team and returned to ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.’ That’s why if you observe carefully, you will see that my hairstyle has changed in some parts of the movie.

– ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ is the perfect movie for my current image. A hero should be someone we can compare ourselves to. The problems he faces and the ways he chooses to solve them should be inspiring. Only then will the audience see him as a hero. As a hero, I have a social concern that reflects in the roles I play. ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ also has good entertainment.

– I wanted to act in a film like this. It has heroism, action, sentiment, emotion, and love. When director Prashanth told me this story, I imagined Karthi as the hero, similar to ‘Khaidhi.’ This movie doesn’t have as much action as ‘Khaidhi,’ but the story has an emotional drive, a problem for the hero, and his courage in such a frame. The movie continues with a racy screenplay in the second half.

– I am happy to be working under a big banner like UV Creations. There is a belief that making, post-production, and release will be done properly if it’s under UV. Our ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ team got complete support from UV Concepts.

– There will be no regular type songs in the movie ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.’ If a song comes when the story is serious, the audience will feel it as a disturbance. The song set in this movie became popular, but we don’t have much focus on it. We have only planned how this song will take the story forward.

– There are no twists related to heroine Iswarya Menon in ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.’ She plays an important role and takes the story forward. The reason there are fewer shots of Iswarya Menon in the trailer is that if her scenes were included, the story would be revealed. The trailer shows the hero as an adopted son. That’s where the story begins. In my view, heroism is not just about fighting villains but also standing up for my father, going to any lengths for my loved ones, and fighting for the girl I love. In the first half of ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam,’ you will see an emotional hero. We are showing what steps he took due to that emotion in the second half.

– I don’t interfere with the script, but I will discuss topics that I feel strongly about. If I need time to get ready for the character, I will take it. All the credit for ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’ belongs 100% to the director. I respect Rahul, who appeared on screen in ‘Happy Days.’ Rahul showed interest in doing this film, and we happily shot together. Rahul became my best friend in a short time. His brother is playing a role. Our combination is going to be new.

– I don’t feel any regret about acting as a villain in films like ‘Gang Leader’ and ‘Valimai’ during my time as a hero. Until then, the range of my films was different, and the range of ‘Gang Leader’ was different. I am remembered by ‘Gang Leader’ by many audiences, including those in America. After acting in the movie ‘Valimai’ with Ajith, I gained recognition in Tamil Nadu. It was after these movies that I started doing films with a stylish makeover. Until then, I acted in movies like ‘RX 100’ and ‘Guna 369’ with a mass look. Acting in ‘Gang Leader’ has been a great advantage for my career. After that movie, villain offers came in Telugu, but I didn’t like them. In Tamil, I received offers to play a villain but couldn’t commit because I was doing hero roles in Telugu. I want to do another movie with director Prashanth.
